I am now back at work. What can I say? It's alright. Things are fine. I am not overly stressed out. Having a week and a bit off is a very refreshing thing. I was not overly lazy, but yet spent plenty of time relaxing. I got some major crap done. And, now I must get paid and keep the roof over my head, etc.
I spent last Saturday night at the Zoo. It was one of their camping nights and it was actually really fun. It was quite a chilly night though so everytime I moved I got a blast of cold air from the slit in my sleeping bag which of course woke me up. Then these nutball children were up at the crack of dawn chatting away two tents over. Everyone was packed up by 7:30. It was ridiculous. Why do people insist on doing stuff AND talking about it before 8:00 a.m.? It's just insane. Amryn, our youngest Giraffe, was quite the showman and came running over to the crowd on our safari tour in the evening which was great. I also saw a family of Wood Ducks!
Tonight is the first official show for the Top 20 of So You Think You Can Dance Canada - YES! I must go. And, I will be voting! I AM SO EXCITED!!!
